How It Works

We start with you.

Every plan starts with your goals and the specifics behind them: your training history, what you're working around, and the week you actually have. From there, we build a program that is yours alone.

01

The assessment

We look at how you move, your training history, and what you're actually trying to reach. You leave knowing what your plan would look like and what it costs, with nothing to sign that day.

02

One plan, one team

Your plan covers training, nutrition, and recovery, and every coach who works with you trains you from that same plan, under the same roof. Nothing gets lost between people.

03

Rebuilt every block

Every block, we re-test and rebuild based on what moved and what didn't. When travel, work, or a cranky shoulder gets in the way, the plan changes with you.

Our Story

Who we are.

Pursuit opened in Wyckoff in 2019 in 1,700 square feet with one goal: redefine private training.

That means a world-class experience every time you walk in, and a plan that adapts to wherever life takes you.

Since then, we've trained thousands of people with different goals, different bodies, and different ages, all held to the same standard.

Today, we're located in Franklin Lakes in a brand-new, 7,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art training facility. We offer expert training, nutrition coaching, and Caffè by Pursuit on site, with our recovery studio opening soon. Everything is under one roof, on one plan.

We invite you to come train with us.

What is Pursuit?

Pursuit is a private performance training facility built around training, nutrition, and recovery. It is not a gym you swipe into. You work with our coaching team from a plan built for you, adjusted as your life changes over time.

Who trains here?

Adults and athletes who strive to become the best version of themselves. Your starting point doesn't matter. Most people who walk in are working around something, whether it's a bad shoulder, ten years off, or wanting to take their game to the next level. That's the norm.

What happens on the first visit?

An assessment and a conversation. We look at how you move, your training history, and what you're actually trying to reach. You leave knowing what your plan would look like and what it costs, with nothing to sign that day.

What's the difference between private and semi-private training?

Private training is one-on-one coaching on your schedule. Semi-private is a group of two to four people training at the same time, each running their own program, with a coach managing the floor.

I'm coming back from an injury and working with a physical therapist. Can I still train?

Yes, and we'd want to talk to your physical therapist. We work in the gap between discharge and full training, and that goes better when both plans agree with each other.

How does billing work?

We offer a couple of options: session packages and ongoing coaching memberships. Both are billed in four-week blocks rather than calendar months, so every block gets reviewed and adjusted before the next one starts. There are no long-term contracts, and you commit one block at a time. We'll walk you through which option fits your goals and schedule at your assessment.

How often should I train?

Two to three sessions a week works for most people, depending on your goal and what else is on your plate. Your coach will help you set a frequency that is realistic for your goals.

What if I travel or miss a session?

Tell your coach. Travel programming, hotel-gym versions of your plan, and rescheduling are a normal part of the process. Please note that all services carry a 24-hour late cancellation policy.

Do you offer nutrition and recovery as well?

Yes. Our nutrition coaching covers fat loss, muscle gain, and sports performance, built around your training and your schedule, with in-person and online options. Pursuit Recovery, our in-house recovery studio, is opening soon. Caffè by Pursuit is also on site, serving organic, seed-oil-free food and smoothies.

How do I get started?

Schedule an assessment. We'll tell you what we would do and what it costs, and you decide from there.

You have goals. We help you get there.
